I’m a little bit partial to The Snug because my husband and I had our first date there! I still remember the fabulous grilled salmon and salad that I had. If you’re planning a trip to Augusta, or you live in Augusta and have never eaten there, you MUST plan to have dinner there.
The Snug is a local institution – locally owned and operated since 1992. Wondering what to wear? It’s somewhere between casual and upscale casual. Although they have some fine dining types of menu items, they are casual people who like good food without the stuffiness! That’s my favorite thing about them. They specialize in premium aged Angus steaks, but also do a mean Angus burger. One of the local favorites is the Jumbo Lump Crab Dip…spicy and warm with a hint of sherry. There’s a little bit of something for everyone.
Be on the lookout for their upcoming Happy Hour and Bar Menu. Also, they’ve just opened The Bottle Shop Wine and Spirit next door.
