This is one of the best places in the Augusta GA area for walking or bicycling. The Greeneway is located just over the Savannah River in North Augusta, SC. If you’re in downtown Augusta, take the 13th Street bridge over the Savannah River, then take a left at the light at Buena Vista. At the end of Buena Vista, take a left and follow the road into the park.
Park at the gym, where the paved walking trails extend several miles in both directions. If you take the walking trail to the left, you’ll get to enjoy some amazing views of the Savannah River…
