A friend recently told me about Grovetown Trails, but I have never been until today. I happened upon it quite by accident. At first glance, it looks like a paved walking path with a few scattered picnic tables. I decided to get out of my car and explore a bit, if for no other reason than to take a few pictures.
What I discovered was an amazing surprise! The trails, either paved or boardwalks, wind around endlessly along creeks and a pond. There are huge rock outcroppings, especially notable around the pond. I also noticed plenty of wildlife – mostly birds, squirrels, and bullfrogs.
Pictures wouldn’t have done this justice, so I took some video clips. I hope you enjoy!

The map feature on the website is not working for me. Can you give me an address so that I may visit this area. I am not able to locate it on Columbia Counties website either. Thanks!
Jenn – Sorry about that! I re-embedded a Google map. Hope this helps!
