Also known as “Summerville“ or ”The Hill”, this area is very close to Downtown Augusta GA as well as Augusta State University. While some of the historic homes have been beautifully restored and can be priced over $1,000,000, there are many cottages and other styles priced much lower that could be equally beautiful with a little sweat-equity.
There are always quite a few homes for sale along Walton Way and the surrounding area. Many times the sellers are simply moving up and quite insistent on staying in Summerville. Others buy homes in the area to renovate and sell.
