Walton Way Homes for Sale in Augusta GA

Someone recently wrote to me and asked about the beautiful historic homes in Augusta GA that they had seen online. She loved the charm that the homes offered and was curious about the location and the schools in Richmond County.

Historic homes for sale in Augusta GA

One of the most beautiful areas in Augusta GA is the historic area on Walton Way.  Also known as “Summerville“ or ”The Hill”, this area is very close to Downtown Augusta GA as well as Augusta State University. While some of the historic homes have been beautifully restored and can be priced over $1,000,000, there are many cottages and other styles priced much lower that could be equally beautiful with a little sweat-equity.

There are always quite a few homes for sale along Walton Way and the surrounding area. Many times the sellers are simply moving up and quite insistent on staying in Summerville. Others buy homes in the area to renovate and sell.

Whatever your interest, take a look at the current historic homes for sale in Summerville around Walton Way, and if you have questions about any of the surrounding streets in Summerville, please give me a call. I’ll be glad to set up a link for you where you can view the latest homes for sale (updated on a daily basis).

The  photos of the homes below were taken on Henry Street, just off of Walton Way,  in Summerville, Augusta GA.
